thisThis is the work:
I have createdproduced a creative piece written in the first person of Albie's father to explore the family ties of Albie and his father from Winton's short story "A Blow A Kiss." The first person'sfirst-person perspective allows the reader to feel the thoughts and emotions of Albie's father. Many of Winton's fictional pieces mirror moments in my own life. Both my father and I have a hectic lifestyle, with me attending school and my father working, which has shaped my written perspective frombased on the connection. I created this piece for people who have difficulty connecting with their fathers to suggest how teenagers face this common struggle. I also wanted to discourage the audience from using and accepting violence in a society like Wilf Beacon's cruel and abusive ways of hitting his son. I intend to highlight Albie's father's ethical morality through his use of "violence" for the right thing, which allows the reader to experience Albie's growth from childhood to manhood. Winston depicts two diverse father roles: one that is supportive and one that is abusive. Albie's father shows love and cares differently from Wilf Beacon by not using violent ways. My creative work tries to demonstrate the ability of men who cannot express affection openly, suggesting that not all fathers have grown up with the same ethics. I try to make the reader use their empathy to understand that Wilf Beacon can only express his emotions only through violence, and that does not identify him as an abusive father.
