We can distinguish two definitions of an experience, both of them consist of one common necessity to be an experience, they must be justified to be the truth. The experience is either something that happened to us or the knowledge that we have gained through something. By adding to the already defined word “experience” the word “personal”, we can conclude that the personal experience is a set of incidents or a group of gained knowledge personally tailored to the individual.
On the other hand, the definition of the word knowledge consists of many components such as facts, information that can be defined aas truth.
As an object which I consider the most suitable for explaining the relationship between personal experience and knowledge, I have chosen the JapanJapanese souvenir given to me by my dad. The reason for choosing this certainparticular object is that it easily enable meenables me to give an explanation of a particular prompt. From my personal experience, I can state the fact that it has been brought from Japan and given to me which is a knowledge of how this object had found its place in my hands. It is a truth that can be justified by seeing either a receipt that consists of a price of a particular thing or a label at the bottom of my object in the Japanese language that is proof of the above-mentioned receipt belonging to the described thing.
From the above example, we can deduce that personal experience and knowledge are dependent on one another. It is impossible to give an example of a personal experience without the knowledge necessary to justify it.
The experience is either something that happened to us or the knowledge that we have gained through something.
