The Lab that I decided to write about wasis Exercise 9.3 Determining Rate of Photosynthesis in White Light

For myMy hypothesis,
I wroteis that the rate of photosynthesis wouldwill decline or decrease in the light thats ultraviolet whitelight versus the white light.

For the strategy, we will comparecompared the rate of photosynthesis with and without the white light.

For the method, we will measuremeasured the volume change due to O2 production using a volume meter.

During this particular lab, we were able to observe, what to do with thethe effects of white light, solid red, and dark striped orange bars and what they represented.


We concluded that the solid red bar shows howincreased oxygen volume increases due to photosynthesis and the stripsstripes of orange on the bar also shows howcaused oxygen and the volume declinesto decline due to Arabiclow cellular respiration in aand lack of photosynthesis.


I enjoyed this lab because I was able to see things visually as far becauseregarding how the plants were affected so in. In conclusion, based on the results that I found inof the experiment., I was able to see that the plants exposed to white light would undergo photosynthesis and produce even more oxygen.
