Nevertheless, the fairgrounds were deliberately organized to meet the entertainment needs of the people coming to the fairs and it was definitely commodified. The taverns, restaurants and nightclubs were opened. Especially alcoholic beverages could be found in the taverns. In the specific areas reserved for entertainment, there were similar kindkinds of organizations. Groups called circuscircuses by the participants were coming to the fairs. In those circuses, there were jugglers who were extraordinarily tall with wooden stilts, tightrope walkers and acrobats. In addition, exotic animals such as elephants, which were not familiar to the rural population were exhibited in the section known as the zoo. Apart from these, carousels, Ferris wheelferris wheels or swing boat mechanisms with simple technologies were set up in an area resembling towhich resembled an amusement park. Shadow plays, particularly shadow play, was very popular among the children. All this organization was approximately similar at all fairs because these entertainment groups used to visit all fairs.
