According to Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the unemployment rate in Palestine has increased to 26.6% during the second quarter of 2020, compared to 25% in the first quarter, due to the economic repercussion of the COVID-19 pandemic. This has profound economic, cultural, and social consequences.
The Palestinian labor market has a promising future for many fields such as marketing and accounting -especially if combined with social media skills and professional certificates. On the other hand, the unemployment rate among graduates of business administration and accounting is expected to reach 60% in 2020. The main causes of such high rates of unemployment include economic stagnation, limited job prospects, an over-supply of skills with low market demand, and an inability of employers to find specialized skill sets. There is a need for qualifying and training fresh graduates to equip them with high competences in order to increase the employment rates. This project responds to this need!

B. The project aims at providing graduates of business administration, marketing, finance, accounting, and human resources with needed skills to pave the way for them to integrate ininto the laboworkforce.
