We all do it
,: tbh, gtg, btw, the list goes on, everyday. Every day, every second, we humans use these quick little phrases, and abbreviations, and misspell words on purpose, all because offor one thing……reason ... we’re lazy, or. Or is it.it?
Let's start with why
, first off. First, and there's no denying it, itsit's super easy. The word “because” can be shortened to “coz”, we. We can easily cut down phrases like “as soon as possible”, which has 16 letters, but isit is just as easily recognized if we use just “asap”, which has 4 letters. So there's no question, it'sit is easier and faster.
Which leads me to my next question, is it a good thing or a bad thing? Well
, note to self, kiddos, almost anything that has a benefit in life also has a down side. For example, a car gets us places quicker, but uses fuel and pollutes the air,; if you build a house, that's good, but you probably cut down a few trees, right,uright? You see my point, in. In this case, we use less effort, which makes it quicker and easier

. However, we also forget to spell words correctly, and use too many abbreviations, and we are to unformaltoo informal with the structure of our sentences, in which case we end up writing something that makemakes no sense at all.
So now we are pretty even
, its – it's clear there are benefits and downfalls ofdownsides to our using “text grammar”, but. But to really find out how much it has an effect on our language/grammar skills, whether it is positive or negative, I had to find out more, so ido some further exploring. So, I hopped on the world wide web, did some digging, and researched this rising issue to find out more.
