During a family dinner, in the midst of 2016, my mother told us about her discontent towardswith clothing companies, in which she. Since then, I started noticing the inadequacies in various industries.

I tried to find answers to my questions. The more I dig into, the more inspiration I get. For example, it was not until reading “The Undercover Economist” that I understandunderstood how the economic system is constantly affectingaffects our lives. Economics orand business is not just about complicated theories in textbooks; they allow us to see throughidentify the underlying processes in life, whichthat make our social patterns evident and thus explain much of our world. I found it exceptionally fascinating, and my interest in the business field has since rooted in my mind.

Exposure is vital to develop one's mindset and competency. For this, I participated in business-related programmes like the HKU Entrepreneurship Summer School, which reachedreaching first place in the business plan competition. Not only do I gainedgain the precious chance of meetingto meet successful entrepreneurs, but I also learnt how to create a start-upstartup plan and present to possiblepotential investors. This experience furtheredadvanced my concept of start-upstartup entrepreneurship. Furthermore, in Summer 2018, I attended a similar programme organised by Junior Achievement HK, coming third in the competition.
