Team, be advised, it was reported on the 1pm conf that a simple assault took place @Eastern SHS. It was reported to the school Social Worker by Emailemail from the parent of Anayia Dubose, female 99th grader, and Devondre Dubose, male 1010th grader. The two students were allegedly followed home by Mya Johnson, female 1010th grader, and 2 unknown adult females on 8/28/18. Today, Anayia and Devondre waswere seen walking the 2nd floor looking for Mya. onceOnce they made contact, aan altercation took place and security and staff deescalated the situation. While a staff member was walking Mya to the DeanDean's office, Anayia charged at her and was stopped by security. whileWhile being restrained, Anayia broke away and assaulted a Contract Security Officer, T. Darby, punching anand pulling the officeofficer's hair. Staff and Securitysecurity forcefully removed the Anayia and Devondre from the building. Anayia then went to the rear of the school and attempted to break a window using a guard rail. Anayia then entered the building using the cafeteria loading doors. staffStaff and security caught her and she was arrested for simple assault.
