This paper reveals the problems associated with the concept of “transaction,”, as considered by scientists over the past century. In this regard, the purpose of this article was to analyze and summarize the theoretical approaches to the study of the concept of “transaction”“transaction.” Methods of system and comparative analysis, and methods of deduction are the theoretical and methodological basisbases of the study.
The article studies and describes the types of transactions, the process of replacing one species with another. A modern understanding of the categories of “transaction” and “transaction costs” is given, including for the modern, largely digital, economy. It is concluded that transactions provide an opportunity for mutual cooperation, and the civilized ability to negotiate is a necessary condition for the successful development of business.
