I believe very strongly that the commandments are guidelines and can be adjusted to fit the circumstances. I think that it is hard to have such black and white commandments when we are all different. I believe that Commandmentsthey are different for every person. Saying that may get me into a bit of trouble but, Ifif someone grewgrows up not knowing any commandments, how can they would follow them. I find this to be very difficult to understand. I believe that God will judge us according to the placewhere our heart is.
I also believe God knows our intentions, and he knows us so well that he knows where our heart is. In my life, there have been many times that my parents have said, this is right, and this is wrong. I know it’s hard to imagine that if you feel lifelike the commandments are like laws, then if you break them you go to jail. This can, of course, be true in certain circumstances.
Commandments keep us safe.
