I have stumbled across a blog only recently, about the topic “The Village Earth”, and I fancy reading it. This post immediately caught my attention as I was searching for more information about globalisationglobalization. Personally, the idea of imagineimagining the world as a tiny village of about 100 people, sounds interesting to me, and if this would ever be a project I would love to give it a try. The blog entry indicates many facts and numbers about how manythe amount of people would and different cultures. and illustrateIt illustrates a picture in your mind of how many people are actually starving and living without basic sanitations.

The wide disparity between rich and poor represents an enormous problem in the village earth. While six people own approximately 60 percent of the entire wealth, every second person earnearns two dollars or less, and a quarter of the people live on the existence of minimum and struggle to survive. Due to the reason that poor people take every job they get, they often get exploited from the wealthier. They are working hard forto nourish their kids.
