Emerald was known to be joyful., Uuntil one day, a hideous monster named Grendel made its way to Emerald. His eyes were dark as night; his skin was filled with warts and pimples; he was half bat and half monster. Now, there was no laughter, no music, and no children playing outside anymore. The king would reward $10,000,000 and the princess’s hand in marriage to anyone who would kill Grendel, but if they failed, they would gbet executed. Weeks turned into months, months turned into years., Tthen finally a young gentleman named bBeowulf wanted to try and complete this hard mission. The king gave him swords, horses, and 10 days and 10 nights to complete the challenge.
