Thelor’is thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, the author describes the theoretical aspects and history of franchising, along with its legal background and compares franchise, subsidiary and joint ventures. Then, in the second chapter, the author analyses statistical data about franchising development trends, both in Latvia and the worldwide.

The third chapter contains the Bachelor’s thesis' empirical analysis., It includesing the description and evaluation of thea Career Skills Incubator, as well as financial analysis and future forecasts. Student survey and expert interview results are analyzed as well asnd evaluated to explore the possibility of franchise development possibility.

Data processing and analysis were carried out throusingh theMS "MsExcel" and "SPSS". It was concluded that the Career Skills Incubator franchise development in Latvian is not recommended. BacThelor’s thesis consists of 65 pages. The thesisand includes 17 figures, 17 tables, 8 annexes and 78 sources of literature in both Latvian and English language.
