My family was having a party for me. Mom wanted me to wear the maruoone bracelet that her Mother had given her when she turned twelve. nNow I would go through the same wrighte. mMom tried to coaxe me to wear the bracelet whille I prepared for the party, but I put it on the counter so it wouldn't get dirty.
Soon everything was just right. Then I noticed the bracelet was missing. We looked on every surface, but we couldn't find it.
