Responsibilities
To effectively manage all elements of the Sales & Marketing Department. Meeting/exceeding the inflows and gross margins budgeted. Ensuring excellent levels of customer satisfaction, whilst keeping overheads within those budgeted. Strategically defining new products and markets. Planning the organisation of sales activities to achieve budget
&and growth targets.

• Review Sales & Marketing team members and make recommendations for re-training / structuring the team to maximise
Bbusniness benefit.
• Re-build the book
&and bill order book specifically in the yachting and commercial work boat markets
• Generate significant short term cost savings in the department

Achievements
Conducted a review of the team resulting in letting one sales manager go and identifying ways to streamline processes in the department such that the sales co-ordinator role was made redundant saving £45k pa in overhead costs.
Cleansed the opportunity pipeline of the unrealistic opportunities and successfully proposIng the introduction of a CRM software tool to help focus on the right opportunities
Introduced formal sales structure for lead evaluation, qualification and gating
, ensuring the Bbusniness considers viable opportunities that are both winnable and desirable.
Booked £45k worth of book
&and bill orders
Qualified and am now leading a £3.5-5.1m opportunity for the Naval IPMS products
