I agree that a lot of our laws can seem very crazy and sometimes out right useless, like the one law here in Ohio that states it's illegal to get a fish drunk or the law that’s states Wthat women are prohibited from wearing patent leather shoes in public. ( I am beyond guilty of this one ) and oOf course these laws are quite crazy, but in regards to the more serious cases, such as the Brock Turner case, I don’t think that was necessarily “the law”; that was more of the judge's discussion, not the law it self.
