The purpose of this study was to find out the causes of homesickness to deal very well with it in order to ovexrceomed its negative impacts, or at least reduce ithem among KAU expatriate students. The findings indicate that the phenomenon of homesickness was immensely present among KAU expatriate students at either a higher or lesser degree of homesickness as all expatriate students around the world. And also, in spite of the negative effects of this phenomenon in many aspects, it has positive effects as well. This section will discuss the findings based on the results from the previous chapter and it will be divided into 3 main parts. Also, this chapter will talk about the limitation which this research faced and the recommendation to the future studies.

RQ1: Why
do some KAU expatriate students feel homesick?
Three items of the findings related to the first research question were done. Those involved in this issue confirmed the existence of the phenomenon and
the whoalle participants said that being far away from home for a long period for the first time, in new surroundings, and being in charge of your life after your parents used to play this role rather than you are two causes of homesickness among KAU expatriate students. This means that 42 of the targeted group of respondents out of 44 expatriate students Wwho participated in the survey have experienced this phenomenon. This is a normal condition because humans by their nature tend to miss what they familiarize in their home like their cities, their families, a style of their previous life, their close friends, their daily routine/activities and similar places in their homeland. On top of that, Tsuddenly taking responsibility for the managemeint ofg the affairs of life suddenly and, for the first time and in a completely new environment. I think that they are expected results. The importance of this section is

RQ2: What are the impacts of homesickness among expatriate KAU students?
Two items of the findings related to the second research question were done. Most responders said that a combination of depression and low academic
lpevrformancel are the major negative impacts of homesickness on the KAU expatriate students. They also said that taking responsibility for yourself and independence are the major positive impacts of homesickness on the KAU expatriate students. This is completely right because the majority of expatriate students suffer in silence and refuse to recognize the existence of the problem. They are considered this a manifestation of their weakness., Pparticularly in eEastern communities. Therefore, they do not take the initiative to solve the problem or even take tips from a student advisor. Their minds are busy thinking about home, friends and family, and cannot concentrate on youtheir studyies. As a result of that, in addition to the pressures of studying, their academic lpevrformancel will be affected negatively. But if they know how to deal very well with homesickness, it will be a good thing to develop themselves mentally and emotionally and behave in a responsible way by taking responsibility for themselves. The importance of this section is

RQ3: How can KAU expatriate students overcome homesickness?
One item of the findings related to the third research question was done. It shows that a big portion prefers to
Bbe in touch with youtheir family from time to time and making new friends, rather than Ttaking advice from a student advisor. I totally agree with this because talking about what you’re feeling and experiencing can help you deal with your homesickness. Not acknowledging your feelings can make them worse. I think that these solutions are more realistic than others.
