I think that Margaret Thatcher and her husband were feminists. Even though they did not focus on women issues or specifically didtook part iny the feminist movement, Margaret set a good example as a powerful woman whose beliefs revealed that women could do anything as theat men could do. She inspired women to act on their convictions and theyo shoultand be outp for what they believed wais right. Her actions shattered the sexist stereotype that believed women should be the housme makers, washing the dishes, and taking care of the children. In my opinion, Margaret and her husband would bere liberal feminists because both of them believed that women and men should have equal rights and should be given the same opportunities in education, politics, and jobs. Margaret acted on her own conviction, and with her husband’s support, she became the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom which showed the fact that women have the same mental capacity as the men and that removed the barriers for women to use their power in the parliament.
