Dear Internship Coordinator,

My name is Chelsey Liebman and I am an undergraduate student at Hofstra University. I am currently studying psychology, and criminology, due to my passion for helping others. While I was certaonvinced a program or internship relating to psychology and criminology did not exist, I was extremely appreciative to discover the many opportunities the NYC Department of Probation had to offer. I am writing to express my interest in the intern/youth worker opening for this summer. I believe I am equipped for this position, duethanks to my strengths in communication, teamwork, and creativity.

I believe interning for this position will be a great opportunity for me to contribute my skills, while building upon my experience with those who strugglinge. I am dedicated to work with each individual, and to develop plans to improve theis or her life. I have a strong work ethic and, am self- motivated, and extremely organized. My greatest quality ies are my positive attitude and the fact that I never allow myself to be defeated.
