Is it important to have a clean office?

Some people agree with the statement, “It is important to have a clean office.” Others disagree. If asked, then both groups will provide logical reasons to corroborate their stance. I agree with the statement for the following reasons

First, working in a clean office helps us to save time; therefore, it is important for employees and employers to have a clean office. To
takgive an example, I work for an international pharmaceutical company as a marketing manager. My department has a lot of paper contracts with hospitals for clinical trials. In the past, we piled up many of these paper materials related to business contracts around our desks, and scrapped them several times per a year. However, my subordinates often felound it difficulty to find, or it took one hour to seek a document which they needed immediately, so we, management team members, decided to clean up our office frequently,; once a week. If my colleagues had not continued to do so, we could not have saved a lot of time. As the example above demonstrates, cleaning the office is a key to makhelping a company save time and make profits.

In addition, it is not healthy to work in a dirty office
, because almost of all employees feel stress under such a working environment. A few people do not takttend care tof cleanliness in a working space, but in general, people cannot focus on their working in scatteredn office in disarray. Some researches illustrates that compared with workers in a clean office, those in nota clmeanssy office feel more stress, and over 20% of them suffer from mental illness, regardless of kinds of industriesy. Therefore, keeping a office clean is one of the important dutyies for managers, in order to provide a healthy environment for workers.

Finally, whether a office is clean or not is directly related to
a company's reputation, so executives should clean the office toand hire excellent employees. For instance, in Japan, company presidents appeautilize their offices’ attractiveness to get potential employees’ attention.; Eespecially, young students take seriously takhe caimportance of their working environment, and make the decidesion to work for a company which they consider the best, in terms of cleanness and hospitality. If a company did noesn't improve its working space like a traditional Japanese company, it could not hire the brightesmart students. Consequently, having a clean office is very simportgnificant, since employees regard the clearnliness of the company as important.
