Anyway, I arrived here in New York! I'm very excited - everything is so big and people move so fast. I'm sure I'll enjoy it a lot.
I actually stayed in a hotel. it'sIt's quiet, I sleep well, it's notit isn’t very expensive and it's close to the center, which is very convenient. I am looking for a small apartment forto rent. I would rather live in an apartment than in a hotel. forFor me, hotels are not very pleasant places to stay for a few more days, and in an apartment you are more independent.
I didn't tell you about my work. I work three days a week as a receptionist at another hotel next to this one, callcalled the Metropole. manyMany people who work at the hotel are Spanish or German, and English is not very good there either!
