Ramadan is an Islamic holy month. The reason why I'm celebrating Ramadan is that all the things God gives us everything, including the Quran. All the Muslims during the Ramadan fast from dawn to sundown during the Ramadan.

The purpose is to bring a person closer to God, desist from doing evil actsdeeds, and do more good acts,deeds and charity work instead.

Very old people who cannot observe fasting, or sick people can alternatively give clothing, food, or money for one meal to the poor to compensate for the non_ observancenon-observance.

In this month there is a day called laylatul Qadar, and thewhich occurs induring the last 4-5 days inof the Ramadan. Many people who I know said that Muslims are really lucky to have this day, because in the Quran it is written that histhis one night is equal to 1000 nights, and blessed are the ones who pray induring this night. I am one of the people who wait tofor this day it is, because the said if you pray for something that you want from your deep heart, it can be fulfilled. But, in order for it to be fulfilled, you have to be a good person who does not hurt anyone or lielies, I myself think that I belong to that group because I have never lied or hurt anyone. All my life, I have always tried to help everyone,... you might wonder how. One important thing I learned from my dad is that if you can't contribute money or anything else, it just sucks to smile at people. This smile can be the key to people who may feel unwell or feel depressed.

During the Ramadan you learn very much, fora lot. For example, theone thing I learnlearned is that you need to have self-control, patience, and also understandsunderstand the hunger painpangs suffered by the poor.
